Who this is for
The program is available only to people who already have an Osmosis account — commercial real estate facilities and engineering staff whose organizations use Osmosis to track compliance obligations across their building portfolio. It is not available to the general public and we do not send messages to anyone who has not asked for them.
How to opt in
Opt-in happens inside the Osmosis web application, in your own account, using your own mobile number. Nobody else can turn text messages on for you — not your employer, not an administrator, not Osmosis.
- Sign in to your Osmosis account and open Settings → Notifications.
- Find the section titled Text message notifications.
- Enter your own mobile number in the field provided.
- Check the box labeled "Send me text message reminders about compliance deadlines and account activity from Osmosis." The box is unchecked by default.
- Save. Text notifications are off for every account until you complete this step yourself.
The consent language shown next to that checkbox reads: "By checking this box you agree to receive recurring text messages from Osmosis Compliance about compliance deadlines and account activity at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms."
What we send
Reminders of upcoming regulatory deadlines on the buildings in your portfolio — inspections, permit renewals, and certification expirations — plus compliance task status and account notifications. Representative messages:

Cancelling
Reply STOP to any message from us. We will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive nothing further. You can also turn text notifications off at any time in Settings → Notifications, and turn them back on the same way.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.
